DJTC JonesHigh.com Educational Fund

DJTC JonesHigh.com Educational Fund

The DJTC JonesHigh.com Educational Fund was established as a partnership between JonesHigh.com and the Denton Johnson Tennis Corporation (DJTC), a non-profit organization founded by Tina McCall-Waters in 2001 with a focus on helping underprivileged youth through tennis. The organization is named after Denton Pop Johnson, who initiated the tennis program in Eatonville, Florida, where Tina McCall-Waters was among his earliest students.

The main objective of the DJTC JonesHigh.com Educational Fund is to preserve the history and uphold the excellence of Jones High School, a public high school situated in the urban center of Orlando, Florida, with a remarkable heritage in African American education.

The DJTC JonesHigh.com Educational Fund is a tax-deductible fund under the most prominent African American Tennis non-profit organization based in Eatonville, Florida, working closely with the JonesHigh.com Alumni Family and the broader African American community to achieve its goals to bridge the gap in educational funding by providing additional financial support to meet the educational and academic needs of the students at Jones High School.

Together the DJTC JonesHigh.com Educational Fund Committee will work with Jones High School partners to fulfill wish lists and provide additional benefits not funded by Orange County.

We are excited about this partnership in education with the Denton Johnson Tennis Corporation, as this allows this great organization to provide community sports efforts and an educational push via JonesHigh.com to highlight our Past, Present, and Future. Our Legacy ties into the JonesHigh.com website’s primary goal of offering an online voice for the Alumni, students, parents, and faculty to exchange ideas, information, and history and benefit from the experience of others that have attended this old historical public educational institute.

Stand with us as we prepare for the 2023-2024 school year and help build on our legacy of Jones High School. We invite Alumni, Corporations, and the world to support the DJTC JonesHigh.com Educational Fund today.
